Terms of service
These terms apply to trips booked by phone, through Viber or WhatsApp, or using the website form. By booking a trip, you agree to them.
Updated 16 October 2026
01About the service
Pajūrio Taxi carries passengers in electric cars in Klaipėda, Palanga and along the coast, including city trips, airports, ferry terminals and intercity routes. We accept bookings around the clock.
Contact: +370 665 07778, [email protected].
02Booking
You can book by phone, through Viber or WhatsApp, or by completing the website form. The driver answers the phone directly, with no intermediary.
A booking is confirmed once we agree on the fare, time and pickup point. A message sent through the form is not a confirmed booking; we review it and reply. For urgent bookings, call us.
When booking, tell us the pickup point and destination, time, number of passengers and amount of luggage. This helps us choose a suitable car.
03Fare
The fare is fixed and agreed before the trip. We tell you the price when you book, before you decide. We do not use a meter, so traffic and traffic lights do not change the agreed total.
The fare depends on distance, time of day, passenger count, luggage and extra stops. Waiting and extra-stop terms are discussed when booking.
If you request a route change during the trip, we recalculate the fare and tell you before continuing.
04Payment
Pay the driver at the end of the trip by cash or payment card. We do not require advance payment or accept payments on the website.
If you need a receipt or company invoice, tell us when booking.
05Cancellations and delays
Cancel by calling the same number. Please let us know as early as possible, especially for an advance booking if the driver is already on the way.
If you are running late, call us. We will wait as far as the day's other bookings allow and discuss any longer wait by phone. If you are not at the pickup point at the agreed time and we cannot reach you, the booking is considered cancelled.
If we are delayed, we will let you know promptly and offer an updated arrival time or another car.
06Passenger responsibilities
- wear seat belts and follow the driver's safety instructions;
- not smoke in the car, including e-cigarettes;
- not consume alcohol or distract the driver;
- take care of the car and its equipment.
Passengers are responsible for cleaning or repair costs for deliberate damage, including a damaged or soiled interior.
07Children, pets and luggage
Children are transported in line with legal requirements. If you need a child seat, tell us when booking and we will bring a suitable one.
Pets can travel by prior arrangement when prepared for transport: in a carrier or with a muzzle, depending on their size.
Tell us how much luggage you have so we can send a car with enough room. We do not carry dangerous or prohibited items.
08When we may refuse transport
The driver may refuse or end a trip if:
- a passenger is aggressive, makes threats or creates a safety risk;
- a passenger is so intoxicated that they cannot care for themselves or pose a risk to others;
- the number of passengers or amount of luggage exceeds the car's capacity;
- transport would violate the law.
If a trip is ended for these reasons, the fare for the distance already travelled remains payable.
09Lost property
If you left something behind, call +370 665 07778 as soon as possible. We keep found items and arrange their return. Delivery is charged as a separate trip.
10Liability
We transport passengers with due care and follow traffic rules and passenger transport laws.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as accidents, traffic, roadworks, closures or weather. We will inform you as soon as we learn of a disruption.
For airport, ferry or train trips, we recommend allowing extra time so an unexpected traffic jam does not make you miss your connection.
11Problems and disputes
If you are dissatisfied with a trip, email [email protected] or call +370 665 07778. We will reply within 14 days and try to resolve the matter amicably.
If we cannot reach an agreement, consumers may contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (vvtat.lt).
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version and its date are published on this page. The version in effect when you book applies to your booking.
How we process your data is explained separately — privacy policy.
